Services and engagement
The website describes available bookkeeping, accounting and related support. Your written engagement identifies the legal service provider, responsible practitioner, work included, fees and responsibilities. A website enquiry does not create an engagement or authorise lodgement.
Client responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information, responding to questions and reviewing work supplied for approval. Payment approvals, director responsibilities and other obligations remain yours unless an agreed task is expressly delegated within the applicable rules.
Fees
Fees and payment terms are confirmed in the quote or engagement. The starting bookkeeping rate is subject to scope. Software subscriptions, government charges, specialist advice and additional work are included only when expressly stated. GST treatment is confirmed in the quote.
Website information and calculators
Educational content and calculators provide general information and planning illustrations. They do not consider every circumstance or guarantee a particular result. Check current official guidance and obtain advice appropriate to your situation before acting.
Confidentiality and ending an engagement
Confidential information is handled for the purposes of the engagement and applicable obligations. Either party may request to end services in accordance with the written engagement terms. Completed work, outstanding fees, record transfer and access permissions should be addressed in the handover.
Applicable rights
These terms operate subject to applicable Australian law and do not exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any specific engagement terms should be read together with the rights that apply to the service.
